2/4/10 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Thursday

by Katie (Jenny Craig 2009 Poster Girl) 4. February 2010 16:24

Whooo!  All of my meds are finally calming down.  I have been so frustrated with gaining weight on all the different medication.  Finally, I have lost a pound.  The funny thing is, I haven't worked out for about a week because my endometriosis pain has been so bad, and we were out-of-town last week and I know Mexican for lunch couldn't have been very good!  I'm always preaching about changing up your diet and routine...may this was what my body needed.  I am sure I probably increased my calories last weekend, and I stopped my intense 40 minute cardio workouts.  But, coming back down to my usual "approximately 1200" calorie diet was maybe the extra trigger that my body needed.  I try to mix things up on my own but eating at someone else's house for the weekend and going out to eat ensured that my diet was not the same as it usually is.  Don't give up if you're getting frustrated with your weight.  Just be honest with yourself about what you're putting into your mouth and how much you're actually exercising.  If you think you're doing all the right things then eventually something has gotta give.  Good luck and don't lose faith!
