Make sure you are not doing any mindless eating. For example, I was baking cookies for my husband tonight and I found myself swiping a lick of batter left over from the bowl. For whatever the reason, I have the most difficult time maintaining my will power when I'm making something for someone else. Usually I either don't even realize I have done it, or I want to know if my concoction was good so I want to give it a "taste test." This ends up becoming dangerous for me. Mindless eating can be a huge reason as to why you are not shedding the pounds. Be careful when you are cooking for others!
I also wanted to remind you of what a "good" weight loss per week truly is. Don't get too greedy! My friend was disappointed when she lost .7 pounds this past week. She was hoping for 4! A good weight loss on average means about .5 to 2 pounds per week. Slow and steady will win the race!
No really, gradually is much more healthy and that much more likely you will in fact keep the weight off. Be patient and happy with any loss - there's less of you now than before!
